Asylum Related Activities Reported Near Ashmore Island

Posted by HCN on Wednesday, April 27, 2016
Story was from back in February of 2015, last year, see story 'Two boats picked up off Ashmore & Cartier Islands', at http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2010/03/29/two-boats-picked-ashmore-cartier-islands about asylum seekers caught in the region nearby.
The amount of persons on each boat was about 30 or 40 or slightly over, whereat between 2 and 3 dozen boats had been caught previously in the year.
Logical with that, with that frequency of boats approaching the coastal regions in and around Australia, that asylum seeking boats is an issue to those it is, and other stories about asylum seeking have been emerging in recent months.
