This is a brief pointing to situations in Bangladesh. Not all details are here. Other news sites have more information, please read and research.

Flooding
:
"The 11 districts affected by floods include Feni, Cumilla, Noakhali, Brahmanbaria, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet and Habiganj. The ministry said the flood situation in Shylet, Hobiganj and Chattogram is showing signs of improvement."

54 dead, is near current count. However with 2 million in danger, every second counts, as those lives may be in the brink of danger.

Flooding is known to occur each year in Bangladesh, with more intense flooding about every five years, but, usually the regions that get flooded are to certain ones, this time it was in eastern region, some analysts say; so there might be an element of surprise and unpreparedness for the floods at the level of intensity that is the current catastrophe.

Protesting and violence:
About 1,000 person's reported deceased in the situation that emerged in August 2024.
PM, reported to be of the Awami League party, fled around first week of August, in the wake of protests.

Interim government has reportedly stepped in, most of the violence subsequently has been reported to have been reduced.
There are reports that the late 1940s early 1950s started organization, the UN, is gearing to go over there, and investigate into human rights abuses.
(If huge numbers of students have lost eyesight, that is already a self-evident sign that something strange, in Arabic transliterated, ghurab, has occured, and abuses of some sort has transpired; it might take 2 weeks for caution reasons, but does not take 2 weeks for everyone, UN and the whole world, to realize  that there was a situation of abuse that went on.)

The hope for long-term peace exists, as well as immediate solutions to flooding.
