Suspect was arrested, appearing according to news report, as a disgruntled soldier, after taking the lives of 11 persons, 8 of whom were soldiers, 3 were civilians, and out of those 3, 2 were Spanish nationals.
Information points: The island nation was 'officially established' in 1975, and sits off the west coast of Africa, perhaps close to Senegal compared to other African nations. Weapon being identified to carry out the incident was Kalashnikov, which today in many places of the developed world, is not as popularly known as others.
