Agde, France and Montpellier, France have witnessed fake clowns, many of them teenagers armed with various weapons and objects to include pistols, attack pedestrians within the past several days.

Exacerbating the situation, is there are persons that are arming themselves to defend or fight the the fake clown perpetrators.

Social media is being blamed for promulgating a continuance of the spread of the trend.
