Between the heel of Italy as seen in the shape of a boot, and Greece to the east of it, below Albania, is an island named Kefalonia in the Ionian Sea. Almost directly east from Catanzaro, Italy, near the ball of the foot, across the Ionian Sea, just a bit south on arriving Greece, is Kefalonia.
Properties have been destroyed in manner about half the construction is dysfunctional.
Tents are set up.
This is reported to be the second, 2nd, earthquake, in about a week, the more recent one, stronger.
Pinpont: Lixouri
In the east of the western part of the western Greece island, enclave formed by surrounding water.
