Serbia, Croatia join forces in military projects

Co-operation between the Serbian and Croatian armies can help the countries to overcome past relations and create better stability in the Balkans, according to the two defence ministries, and will be important for Serbia's EU accession bid.
Maja Bobić, general secretary of the European Movement in Serbia, said closer co-operation between the two armies could help Serbia on its EU path.
"The EU appreciates efforts in solving all conflicts from the past, and I believe that could be a very important plus in Serbia's EU integration process," Bobić told SETimes.
The Serbian and Croatian armies participated in 15 joint activities this year. The framework of the joint actions falls under the 2010 agreement on defence co-operation between the two governments.
