Backstories:
Since the 'invasion' of Russia into Ukraine at about February earlier this year, there has been a recurrence of 'suspicious deaths' perceived, portrayed, and other descriptions along those lines, as possible having to do with the tensions.
Current Belarus leadership is reported to have been toggling with the idea of a fully announced committed support of the Russian invasion and it's continuance, or aspects thereof. There are news reports available from different resources on the web, such as from other countries outside the US, that report of Belarus augmentative type support of Russia that have already been in existence in certain aspects how ever tenuous or latent, as well as a general preexistent alliance with (the economically empowered) Russia.
It is good to see, at least as a matter of principle, that war crime investigations from a prominent entity like the EU, are in the works, or even put forward as a prospect; plus the fact that it is coming from nearby cousin, if not the same, general region in Europe in this case.
In terms of a want for something more, 'I would say', broaden the investigation to just investigation, instead of honing in on just Russian crimes against Ukrainians, just in case, there are other war criminals that are in the region committing crimes; purview broadened by shorter lexicography (words).
Al Qaeda and ISUS fighters have been reported to possibly be active in the region fighting on both sides.
Drug trafficking has been reported to have been taking ace in both sides, in both areas inside and out of Ukraine, meaning areas of Russia too, going both directions, in and out. So we know the prospect of private armies and gangs from locations outside Russia and Ukraine is plausible.
History teaches what elements could emerge in tensions and conflicts when adjacent people close are involved, and it may include leaving a home to go elsewhere. Cited is when West Pakistan emerged adjacent India, and 'Muslims'. (longer story not included about identifying groups) were asked to leave the present day western boundaries of India, while from modern day Pakistan, those not considered 'Muslim' had to leave their and basically go to India, sort of a flipping sides after advent. In that process, many individuals died in either violence, accidents, the chaos in the situation, or another element which may include a force outside both Pakistan and India. Who and what was that? For this article, trying to point fingers on exactly what answers that question is not the topic of the discussion. The discussion is the concern of what is or what might be will attempt to try to enter the region where tensions are going on in Ukraine, that might attempt to engage in ear crimes, not leaving out trying to exploit conditions.
