New Year, With it Comes Callings for New Protocols and Policies
Posted by HCN on Wednesday, January 1, 2025
Good morning congratulations, seeing now 2025.
As much as there is the want to start the new year off with a happy, sunny story, the stirrings that are around active, and maybe even growing, are overwhelming, and have to be addressed if 2025 and beyond is going to be a time we can look forward to with less misfortunes.
The following are several stories that are expounded on, there are numerous stories around the Country, each one takes hours of immersement.
Reports: Man pushes middle aged man from behind onto New York City train tracks, Manhattan area.
Why can't enough be enough?
Enough hiding the principles- when belligerency of belligerent behavior continues after a big effort on crackdown, it is a sign of the 'rejected one' present and trying to persist.
Obviously some of this information is figurative and has certain applications. For example, rejected one, could be plural in the individuals, individual behaviors or activities, that when combined together form an objectionable development.
Last year was closed out with the identification of the woman that was set on fire by a person identified as an early 30s illegal immigrant male. HCN covered what we knew about the story then, on HCN Cache, the blog.
What has been learned is that a woman with perhaps a notable ancestry had some challenges, that happens to many, many families over time, not excluded military children who may not have had all the amenities available construed on television sitcoms; logic might indicate that the victim was somewhat vulnerable to assault and affects of; vulnerabilities already existed in that the victim was in an area of train system somewhat removed from the bulk of more densely active areas. It has been learned there were 'time phases' involved in the incident; such as the time it took for responders to recognize an incident occurred, the time it took for the suspect to commit the crime, to travel to a nearby destination, and to be caught. The mechanics of how the train incident developed, is being looked at with very sharp and scrutinizing eyes. It has to be the last time anything of the sort could conceivably happen.
Right. Right? Riiight... how ever many times and ways of saying it might continue.
Several to over seven hours before the midnight 2024 to 2025 whistle, came another incident, a man minding focus on a hand held device, perhaps a cell phone, is suddenly pushed by a guy in a hooded sweatshirt that does a walk past then zig back number. There were onlookers. A suspect was caught.
A suspect was caught on the woman set alight case a few weeks before.
So even though the crackdown on NY train violence begun, and was talked about, another incident occured.
Now what?
Reduction of train station/system violence
Here are some ideas:
South Korea had a bad flight disaster in the past few days. Jeju; over 170 reported passing, only 2 survivors.
Friction in large passenger airplanes is a serious matter. Planes are travelling very fast, and weigh a lot. Simple math, if a large plane skids on its belly, it could spell out disaster, even without a drop of fuel in the pane, (referring to a flammable aspect).
Typically, large planes take a lot of fuel. Obviously, the more fuel at the time of fuel igniting, generally, the more intense a fire. A skid could have so much friction, fire involved is bound; in combination with amounts of fuel, the results could be disastrous.
The same day the train incident was discussed, the Azerbaijani airplane crash in Kazakhstan was discussed in the international section of HCN main site. We said there was obviously some miracle, mercy shown in that crash. There was an explosion, however, there was a strong proportion of survivors.
Looking at both crashes, what is seen is the a major difference between a belly skid and a non-belly skid, is an apparatus between the ground and the belly of the airplane.
Again, that is enough.
This 2025, and people on this earth are still witnessing incidents that happened 50 to 100 years ago. People pushing people onto train tracks. Airplanes skidding.
Airplane landing friction reduction, accident reduction
Ideas:
The third area covered is safety issues involved with the overarching band of described as, transportation and delivery service, and rideshare.
Kissimmee, Florida, that area south of Orlando, had a incident recently, several days ago, where a woman was stabbed a count of '14 times over a $2 tip'. Pizza delivery. Female deliverer shows back up at the site of initial delivery with a man, they force their way in, that man is being sought by law enforcement. The entirety echoes human trafficking and threats using coercion and violence. When folkways start setting in that are misguided ways.
Aside from fairy tales of what generation is destined to do what and what part of heaven or hell they go, that incident and others like it is absolutely ridiculous.
There are far too many stories going around with rideshare company drivers assaulting riders, riders assaulting drivers, and deliveries gone the wrong way, food deliverers assaulting customers, customers assaulting food deliverers.
Americans abroad attacked
That occurrence needs a halt.
Durango, Mexico was the recent site of 4 individuals, 2 of whom were Americans shot in their vehicle, 1 survivor in critical condition.
The frequency of incidents like this one has become another source of morality affecting population.
Are bodycams going to be worn on every American tourist that travels abroad; optional?, increase of emergency real-time command centers for international travelers?
Things are getting to the point, or have, where if body cams are not worn by drivers, and footage can be seen in real time, then no deal.
Trust. Trust has been breached too often.
Those vulnerable, have had their vulnerability taken advantage of, where trust has been broken.
Hopes to a good 2025 and beyond.

Reduction of train station/system violence
Here are some ideas:
- More safety gates or ropes on train platforms. No one is to go past the safety gates until the upcoming train stops.
- Fire extinguishing equipment increase. Sprinkler system advanced design, does not necessarily have to be water.
- Increase no loitering.
- Observe time stamps on train tickets from time of entry into train system. Doable at low cost now with time tracers embedded in the ticket. Illustrating, if a person enters a station with a ticket at 12pm to go on a destination that takes 15 minutes, if they are still in the train system 9 hours later, (riding around and around, resting in parked trains, napping at different restaurant booths, etc.,) authorities should be able to more quickly ascertain the patron, approach, and stat asking questions.
- Reduction in loitering can be for the benefit of all train patrons, as individuals who may tend to push the limits of loitering, such as those financially challenged, especially when temperatures are bitter cold, could become targets of predation.
- Reducing the mind frame among train patrons, that the train system is a society or jungle to where crimes of violence are bound to happen, and a game of death or severe injury is what train goers are getting into.

Ideas:
- Increase functioning check of airplane wheel apparatus. If the switch is flipped and the wheels do not come out, that airplane does not need to be flying until they do.
- A backup plan for wheels that fail. For example,
- a second set of airplane wheels.
- More wheels placed in different areas of the plane in case of awkward landings.
- Resilient materials used.
- Non-flammable, or minimal flammable, structures used.
- Rocker rails made of special material on the bottom of planes.
- Chemical alteration of flammable fuel to render as non-flammable if a turbulent crash seems imminent.
- Landing wheels to be extended earlier in flight, if the wheels do not come out, plane is not to land, as doable.
