Today is Eid Al Fatir, as recognized by many around the world.
Eid Mubarak, a well known greeting, to exclaim on this day.
The world has seen the current tensions in the Middle East duplicate itself many times.
1917 was chosen in the title to allude to the hackneyed date of the Balfour Declaration.
Palestine, Israel, Jerusalem, Iraq, Afghanistan, names known over recent years to hotspots of violence, anguish, tensions.
Questions often come up, why do the places near, if not the locations themselves, where the teachings of peace emerge from over thousands of years, be the places where the most intense strife is ongoing? Why during Ramadhan? Why on Eid?
Turkey, behests for Kyrgyzstan to get involved, Palestine, Iraq leaders, and others initiated communication to come to diplomatic solutions to the tensions conundrum.
Who was the perpetrator of the bombing of the girls school in Kabul last week that claimed the lives of about 60 persons?
Many in the 'West', know very little about 'Sunni', 'Shia', and henceforth very, very little about the difference between them. Media in the West however nevertheless will often cite these differences as a major plausible factor in the tensions.
It was debated to try to sing a fable about Afghanistan in the wake of the girls school tragedy.
Let it be said though, there are lessons that can be applied to everywhere.
lndividuals that lurk for vulnerabilities, in crowded places, so they can attack with a thermal method, is very old, whether bomb blast like today, or simply attempt to burn a village, such as through strategically placed arson points.
It may be that evil doers that manipulate vulnerabilities while seeking loss in life, often do not care which 'side', their victims are on.
So, they may attack a 'Shia' town, then within a few weeks later, attack a 'Sunni' town.
Meanwhile, the ruthless violence that went on and is still going on, in Burma-Myanmar, is being examined and analyzed, and reiterating, the events in Afghanistan are going right alongside them in the larger analysis framework.
Who is the one that starts out with a noble cause, maybe a religious slogan to substantiate mass terror, then slide right on over to seeking power, maintaining power, then wealth, then greed, on to rugs, human trafficking, and rest on entities like the UN or consortium of nations to politically recognize them as leaders, giving them more time to continue perpetuating and perpetrating oppression?
Words to the wise, beware, be careful; seek out wrong doers, and put them trial.

The reputable Saudi administrators and authorities on the subject, as of now, 5pm EST, have announced that Eid AlFatir will begin at sunset Wednesday, making that day the last day of fasting, last day of Ramadhan, whereat Thursday, the next day May 13th, will be Eid prayer, basically coinciding with the first day of the following Hijri, [lunar] month.
In the USA, a number of congregations will likely go forward with being synchronous to abovesaid announcement.
However, other moon sighting groupings may find a different date, as was for their assertion of the first day of Ramadhan. This referring to in the USA and other locations globally. This year, there are reports of at least a up to a 2 day discrepancy as held by some groupings from the date announced by the Saudi Royal authorities.
A 2 day discrepancy, might have eventualities found cumbersome when a couple of months down the line, the Day of Arafat will be announced, and it is ordinarily the norm for Hajjis (people performing Hajj) to all do the same thing in uniform. Between now and then, what will happen to the phases of the moon are for the most part to be ascertained when they arrive; [a simplistic pragmatic view might hold, that if all goes as they usually go, something unusual might have to happen in order for everyone to be on the same page].

There are a number of things the Minneapolis area 'needs' to do, activities or non-activities to address the current pandemonium. It seems the region would benefit from carefully guided courses of action if they happened all at once or timed well.
There is a danger with limelighting that unrest is occurring in a specific area, because in this day and age, it has been proven that individuals with no other intention but to conflagrate and exacerbate unrest, might flock to the region to do just that.
The Minneapolis area now has to confront two situations involving force by the police on a suspect.
In the recent situation, a 20 year old was shot while attempting to blatantly flee the scene after police apprehension. Fleeing police, especially knowingly and willfully is a crime in itself.
Some leniency can be given in situations where a suspect may be psychologically impaired or under a condition of extreme shock, such as already suffering from a bullet wound or trying to rescue a relative, however, the suspect is still expected to recover bearings and cooperate.
The recent incident last night, corresponding with the 20 year old male, occurred about 10 miles north of Minneapolis. Apprehension Sunday, protests Monday.
Evidently an officer with more experience than the age of the suspect, fired a firearm at the suspect. The element that a taser/tazer was available is being weighed.
Officers when they have access to both a taser and a firearm, also have to contend with the natural fight-or-flight response when in a situation where they have seconds to respond and are under stress. Over the years, different training has been introduced to respond to different situations. Decades ago, officers may have been trained to discharge a firearm, if for example a suspect fought with police and tries to flee. In the past couple of years, updated training may have recommended officers to use a taser first, in lieu of a firearm. However, if an officer has been trained to use a firearm and was the system for 10 or 15 ears, then receives taser training, tasers a more recent advent, and has been lax with the tool for onl 1 or 2 ears, in a real emergency, one part of an officer's mind, and reaction that has built for the 10 or 15 years might take over in fight-or-flight reaction, while another part of the mind might say, use taser. What could happen sometimes, is a firearm might be discharged instead of a taser or vice versa. The apparatuses look alike, and are sometimes hard to tell the difference at night.
Although the suspect in last night's incident may have had other background giving rise for increased inquiry by law enforcement, many in the population in the region are discontented with what happened. The suspect, like George Floyd of about a month shy of a year ago, is no longer able to stand trial.
In the overflow of the Floyd case, in the same region, this incident happens.
Police and National Guard are now put in a position where they have to carry out their lawful orders to defend certain locations and disperse crowds. This despite their views on the issue.
Civilians are carrying out their views, by defying orders of law enforcement, and see police and National Guardsmen as the torch-bearers of the injustice. This is not necessarily so, and civilians need to understand that not every policeman, policewoman, and soldier, are out to see injustice and oppression for African Americans that had some criminal histories in their background.
Meanwhile, police standing trial are under a lot of pressure, to the degree the might actually be bending the rules of what is the exact status of a principle, so as not to arouse more lashing out by the people in the region.
(The scientific and medical findings of what the impact was of narcotics in the suspects body, is one matter. How much force and to what length of time an officer used on a suspect is one matter. In an event of a fatality, medical findings could determine what were the contributing factors and their exact ratios.)
The unfortunate truth, is some of what has gone on in Minneapolis, reference Floyd, and the situation that emerged last night, has occurred in other locations and times, but may not have received nearly as much media coverage.
So the Floyd hearing is considered 'historic', perhaps in part that it is addressing a situation that has occurred before, but the tolerance level for incidents like that has reached the point that people want them completely abated, as the turn in new eras of equality start to materialize. The problem is, is the totality of what occurred in actuality, a match with what occurred on the prima facie? The people want to see a judgement that reflects what the people saw, and what they might have seen at least at first, was mainly on the prima facie.
A calming down, and being collected, on both sides, is almost a must that needs to happen here. Otherwise the confusion, pandemonium, and general atmosphere of being upset will continue. Exact justice is something to consider for each and every component that has happened.

Everyone in the world knows full well that when negative developments concerning the health and well-being of persons amasses to the intensity that thousands upon thousands of lives have either been lost or devastated, then it does become 'the business' of others outside a referent theirs, or whomsoever claims it to be a private, cordoned, constrained, limited to a selected few, and other descriptions, recent decades have witnessed concerning numerous oppressive situations globally.
Clarifying, China representatives in the past couple of decades, a range that can be cited confidently, have traditionally held the stance that their affairs with 'autonomous' regions, are their affairs, as in theirs and others outside are not welcome to meddle in those affairs, whereas logically, there is an ipso facto aspect of this, as without the assertion that they are tied to the autonomous regions, they might not have justification that there are the corresponding internal affairs (comprised of China and the pertinent autonomous regions). On the obverse, representatives from regions seeking complete independence, or perhaps autonomy, might hold the position that internal affairs are null in void corresponding to the other view's effort.
Historically, numerous, numerous is relatively speaking as each and every nuclear test is a very weighted event, nuclear testing has been performed in areas especially westward of China, where the comfort zone of the testing is a serious issue, and how much is necessary to conjecture that the health of individuals living in the region have been affected, or at least threatened, might not be much. The world saw the protests in Hong Kong, reference extradition policy, over the past several years. These were extremely frightening events, altogether, actions from both sides. To abandon the possibilities that the intensity of the strife and injury could escalate, would be foolish on the part of other nations.
On a respectful note, China is a very large and vast nation, with dimensions still yet to be understood in many ways by many Americans; and China is old, in a way meaning mature and developed in thousands of years of history, while the US has basically a few hundred, if 1776 is the benchmark. Within China are many that strive to perform good cause and make lives better for the world; there might not be at all times, one set policy that may sit as a source of discomfort to the US, that absolutely all Chinese agree to at all times.
Video reviews of the summit are indicative that in other areas of discussion, there were positive notes, and goals in congruency.
