Embassy Move: Taiwan Office, From Pretoria to Johannesburg, Reaction Might Include Other Move Ultimatums

Based on recent web reports, it does not look like Taiwan is wholeheartedly accepting the proposition of moving their representative office from South Africa's Pretoria to Johannesburg.
Backlash in talks or on the table, has reports that there are sounds of stirrings for the idea of South Africa's counterpart office in Taiwan to move, as not left out.

The basis for the discomfort of the Johannesburg move proposition, is said to have to do with the sense of sovereignty, and diplomatic ties. Of course in the backdrop is China-Taiwan relations, and China-South Africa relations. There are popular perceptions that pressures to strengthen one set of ties might have implications that another set of ties should be diminished.
