Don't rush to setting something on the pages of London news, take this route first-
Here will be an attempt to explain why, while also explaining a dire in severity situation involving usage of weapons with a blade.
I saw a statistic on a recent video that is pretty unforgettable, 12,786 knife attacks in London in 2023. That strikes as a bad number, of incidents, on a good number, which at the end of the day, is a bad thing, point blank, for everybody.
Sound the clarion.
Do research before sounding the clarion and of course, stay respectful as well-
Here's the story:
It is well known that London is top tier when it comes to matters like safety and security. That is one of the reasons why the statistics seem so unusual.
A question that might be getting asked in a number of people's minds is, 'what is going on?' How on earth could a skyrocketing surge in a crime like that possibly occur?, especially with all the laws, efforts, and the general construct of the area being upper-crust civilized.
This write-up is being placed in 'Intercontinental News' for at least several reasons.
One, given security in place in London, there is a high probability that a strategized method of penetrating barriers to crime got started up. It may be likely, that at least some of the strategy behind crime, came from the outside, in other words, from other regions, and made their way to the inside, and probably in a more complex manner than simply enter-or-barred from entry dynamic. It was probably, enter through roundabout acceptance, then let the plants grow after the seeds were planted. Instead of a 1-2 punch, a 1-3, 2-3 punch combo or along those lines, for brevity.
The effort, not just the responsibility to curb the crime, may have to come from regions where immigrants are coming from, need to be dealt with before they spring out, under color of seeking new financial opportunities. And not just on individual basis of he has a propensity to engage in crime, rather the whole society needs to stop fostering the production of the frame of mind for people to engage in the crime. -International news.
In the vetting process of who is let get in to where, it may be the case that, when potential immigrants, asylum seekers, etc., are looking for a move, they draw up a short list. If they do not get into one place they attempt to get into another. For example, several guys about 20 years old grew up in a really bad, impoverished neighborhood, with no running water and barely any educational infrastructure. They managed to get a course in a trade school in, and applied to leave their '3rd world' environment and 'restart' elsewhere. A typical list may have on it, New York City, London, Rome, Oslo, and two cities near each other Copenhagen and Malmo. Let's say, they couldn't get into NYC for whatever the vagary, but managed to get into London. They got in trouble in London, and are then eying going to Oslo, and so forth. -International news, as it's an international issue. Especially if those guys are knife-wielding troublemakers.
In a very well known movie, a boy is told by his mother 'run Vito!'. Such a scene can have aspects of it happen in real life, in a wide range of places and cultures.
Maybe the rest of the world does not need to be privy to what might be a temporary spate in London. But, if the problem persists, and the way to abate the problem comes from help from others, it might be that for others to at least be aware of the problem is a stepping stone in the abatement process. -Not an isolated situation, the remedy possibly including contribution from others.
This whole knife attack situation going on right through here, might be summarily analyzed at the introductory level, as a phenomenon. An anomaly.
Some of the knife or sword attackers seem to have psychological difficulty. Some seem to be product of the environment trend overwhelmed, such as youths and gang members that attack in drug social constructs.
The knives used in London attacks range from small knives to samurai swords.
Figuring out where the knives and swords are coming from, besides amateur made near the site of the crime, might also help. Are the imported, illegally, smuggled?
It used to be the gun replaced the knife as a criminals choice of weapon, trends of the times. Perhaps as gun mitigation efforts have been proven successful, knives have managed to dodge the weapon mitigation radar.
News and online videos platforms are rife with stories about London stabbings.
12,786 divided by 365 (days in a year), is about 35, knife involved attacks a day. It hardly makes sense. One might figure that after 2 or 3 days at that rate, just go around and collect, confiscate all knives, and the fast track toward abatement would be all set. So again, one might ask, what happened, and what's happening?
Getting to the bottom of that question might not be easy pie, but asking might help get there.
Out of the pool of stabbing incidents in roughly the last half year, there are 3 that are salient, each telling a different story.

- Primrose Hill stabbing - youth attacked on New Year's Eve
- Croydon bus stop - teenage boy assaults teenage female
- Hainault attack - 36 year old man with samurai sword, attacks, leaving fatality and others injured in mass incident
Just one of those events almost sent me into cardiac arrest, not to mention a compounding. Whatever is happening, a solution and its effect needs materializing at right this instant level of priority.
