The race for space in outer space is rapidly making developments. From the landings on moon 70 or so years ago, through today, and what is being eyed in the near and far future, what was once sci-fi is now being dwarfed by reality.
According to an August 13, 2024 article in Radio Free Europe et al, 'Kazakh Plan To Join Chinese-Led Moon Base Would Strengthen Space Partnership', it looks like efforts are underway to get the ball rolling for interactive real estate on that space mass.
There are other news reports about Kazakhstan with respect to China through here, perhaps which may wax and wane depending on the politicking of the day, and the daily dose of news takes scattered around the Internet.
