Compounding the suicide bombings conducted by two females a few days ago, today, there are reports of several bombs detonating, claiming the lives of over a hundred worshipers at the Central Masjid [other words commonly used to refer to the Muslim place of worship are Mosque and Moschia].

The tragedy that took place today, was in the city of Kano, in the northern part of the country.

Other blasts in Nigeria occurred toward the end of June beginning of July about 5 or 6 months ago.

In Maiduguri, 2 females that reportedly were teenagers dressed in fully covering garbs performed acts of suicide bombing, yesterday Tuesday thereabout.

The city is in the northeastern corner of Nigeria, in the Borno region, near the western strip of Cameroon adjacent Chad, Lake Chad, and south of Niger.
