Behavior Amidst the 'Maluku Sectarian' Situation

Back in the late 1990s, many eyes in the US were focused on what was happening in Bosnia, Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia region.
But, it was much lesser known that the reports of some of the very same behavioral forms that occurred there were occurring in Indonesia.
I uncovered a report written in perhaps a local language in the region, describing unthinkable activities, in short, torture, that was occurring at broad and massive amounts.
The Moluccas an area known for Dutch travelers centuries ago carrying out business ventures similar to US explorations that known popularly got started in the 1600s.
What happened in the region toward the end of the 1990s, had elements similar to the cruelty that was seen in Gujarat (roughly 2002 to cite), Bosnia in about the early 1990s, and situation that evolved in Kenya around 2007, perhaps, as there were others there, referred to as a crisis. There might have been a chance that had Americans been more aware of the situation in Indonesia during that time, that the distribution of attention to all the matters of the nature that were occurring throughout different regions of the world may have been different.
It may be 2 and a half decades after the fact, but not being missed entirely on these pages.
