Fragmented details about flight crashes going back to when large commercial flights were available in the respective regions, may have been all that was practically doable. Attitudes might have had an impact on research; who is being ignored, stereotyped, etc.
Today with global information sharing faster than the amount of time it takes to make the information, backtracking, circling back, and doing a more thorough job on investigating flight crashes, are bound to show some helpful information to the air vehicle safety realm.
Sabotage, hijacking, kidnapping, and other methods aimed at using transportation modals with plenty of people on board to call attention to something, -that something being perhaps an issue viable or not viable,- has existed for a long time.
