Message About New York City Assaults in Subway and Trains

February 17, 2021
Written and published February 16, 2021, 8:15pm EST
No one has the right to mess up someone else's life,
just because others might be engaging in the behavior, a fad is taking off, crime on the subway has been glamorized on TV or movies, hysteria amidst a pandemic, like coronavirus, etc.

Neither the subway system or anywhere else, is the new or revitalized playground to enjoin in the trend of assault and violence.

What has been happening in New York City in the trains and stations, the system, over the past month is far beyond unacceptable.

Many thanks to law enforcement that have pitched in to mitigate the situation.

Comments include, sometimes others that are on the fringe to do something constituting an anomaly, might be more inclined to cross over the gray area into crime, if they sense there is a frenzied situation, lots of suspense and hype, basically drawn in like magnetic attraction to a situation.

Hype is off the table for some of the vile activities going on.

New York made a big positive step up in cleaning the subway system in earlier goings of the coronavirus pandemic. From traces of information, hours were reduced during late night and early mornings, affecting homeless that use the subway for a place of shelter. A few days ago there was a mass stabbing. Today, NY Daily News online indicates there were at least two incidents involving assaults on women.

Enough. We're heading into a National level emergency. Those that enforce the law and show up on the scene might not be the minimal physical ability standard.

Mandatory body cams for every rider- among a number of ideas.

At my limit for viewing free NY Daily News articles, and could not read the whole thing; I did not have to, I knew it was going on; the trend was swinging to what happened earlier today. There are some people roaming around in the subway system that need to be confined, either due to their mental health, or deficient discipline.

To whom it may concern: The behavior is to cool out now,

ROSEVILL, Mich. (WJBK) -
A 16-year-old boy is recovering this week from open heart surgery after he was stabbed int he chest in a Roseville park.
The gazebo at Veterans Memorial Park was a crime scene on Monday but became a rallying point for peace by Tuesday.
Zachary Martin was rushed to the hospital after he was stabbed at the gazebo in the upper chest. Witnesses said Martin and the suspect were arguing when the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed him.
Roseville police say Martin knew the name of the person who stabbed him, and was able to tell officers before he was taken to the hospital. Police tracked down the 15-year-old and arrested him about 30 minutes after the stabbing.
On Tuesday, family friends and classmates gathered to hold a candlelight vigil and hope for peace.
"Let's just hold our candles up and take a moment to pray for Zach and pray for the end of violence," family friend Alexis Hamilton said.
Most of the people attending the vigil know Martin from school and weren't even there when the stabbing took place.
"I started seeing pray for Zach, pray for Zach so I messaged his girlfriend and I found out what happened," Macayla Williams said.
Police said Martin was in a fight with the other teenager over rumors being spread about his girlfriend.

A suspect who allegedly shot at an Oakland police sergeant on Saturday night remains at large, police said.

Shortly after the crash, a male suspect approached the patrol vehicle and fired a round, striking the patrol car, Watson said.

The sergeant wasn't struck by the gunshot, but was taken to a hospital to be treated for the injuries she suffered in the crash. She has since been released, according to Watson.

Watson said police arrested someone for an unrelated crime during their investigation of the shooting, but she didn't elaborate.

FORT PIERCE, Fla. - NewsChannel 5 was in the process of interviewing the St. Lucie County sheriff outside a house Tuesday, where a drug raid occurred on Friday, when law enforcement happened to roll up for another drug raid.

An ice cream truck drove by at the scene of one of the raids, signifying these busts were happening in the middle of a neighborhood.

The first house was located on North 24th Street.  It was already busted on Friday after a two month undercover drug investigation.  Detectives located meth, crack cocaine and pill capsules and made more than two dozen arrests

"There was individuals here already back in business from Friday night and we walked right in on them," said Sheriff Ken Mascara.
