Too Far To Let Go: Incidents in New Orleans, Baltimore At Least

Posted by HCN on Thursday, March 24, 2022
Does this story need to be rebroadcast, do we say something, do we let the stories that have already been circulated do their work?, well, it has been determined the incident was too extreme to let go.
73 year old woman dragged to death, plus dismemberment in the process, earlier this week. It is about the lowest of the low in terms of a reflection of the values we, Americans, uphold, and that right there might identify who the suspect is, as well as other suspects in similar incidents.
The incident was in New Orleans. A video here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5MYW9Xfnek
The video has already had almost 2 million views.
Available pictures of the victim indicate a pleasant, nonaggressive persona.
Defiant personas, such as the apparent suspect, also being addressed.

In Baltimore, MD, crime in the past couple of weeks especially involving what appears to be small firearms or handguns, has been rife. A recent weekend had 13 males between roughly age 20 and 30 all deceased due to shootings, and the incidents were probably all within a 30 minutes drive of each other with traffic.

Miami Beach amid Spring Break chaos has a declared State of Emergency after one more shooting toppled the comfort zone.
It looks as though the concept of Spring Break has digressed earths far past what the original idea of it was, not to mention group education, that going back to the drawing board on how to re-construct society is going to be needed.

Chicago, Illinois, at least 4 persons have been shot between today and yesterday.
It also appears the situation has gotten better, with a reduced amount compared to other ties in the past few years.
The referent rapper that was murdered, in developments about the case, the US military might be presented with compelling rationale to get involved to an intensified level if not already, in containing behavior of soldiers that show certain behaviors.
Over 20 shootings in Chicago over the past weekend.

Key comments/take-aways:

Generally, shootings after scuffles in malls and nightclubs are critical situations, where a rising tension should be de-escalated as soon as possible, as those spots have shown in the past months to be ones where shots start ringing, and bullets hit bystanders, like old women and young children.

This time of year it is starting to warm up and more folks are bound to be outdoors on the weekend; social event connected shootings better off getting abated now.

Further study:
It is in the awareness loop, even though not deeply, that there have been more than a few crimes recently that involved assaults on women over age 80.
HCN comment, is that in this COVID-19 waning phase, there are people that either need money badly, or are almost blinded by the lust for drugs which money feeds the habit, and in that rage, attack the most vulnerable who have a high possibility of having a sizable sum of money. Retirees, widowers, basic social security checks, the predation begins, the plots get made, go after the money to by a gram of narcotics, or pay what is due from older narcotic buys which might have their lives threatened as well. In reflecting on this, and that the visages if they can be referred to at that, of individuals so hooked on drugs, and so determined to get more drugs, they are willing to do the most horrendous cries, and 'will not stop at anything' in their effort. The recent abovementioned New Orleans story is being studied very carefully, by a number of folks.

A few recent assault stories:
Western MD, Hagerstown, https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/maryland/95-year-old-hagerstown-woman-allegedly-assaulted-by-caregiver/65-ad8d13de-f260-4395-8ef7-ba73036bbe52, over 95 years old, over 10,000 dollars. 10k will not pay for the suspects' dignity.

Another incident earlier in the COVID-19 pandemic was similar, where a man punched down a 60 something woman in the Times Square area that reportedly was of Filipino descent, and prompted the start of a video being produced by HCN.
