Sudan and South Sudan, for a lack of better words as concepts of a division between these two, has a long history. An emergence of strife and tension, might be perceived as an emergence, however, might be what the public has been recently made aware of. For those that know the history of the region, recognized is that, given history and tensions is extant, escalation of violence that becomes to the extent that it is 'too much', cannot be ignored, proper treatment, just as anywhere else. There are other regions that the international community has started to look at with concern.
As an aside, unfortunately, it still needs to be brought to the forefront, people are people regardless of class, and genealogical composition, therewith, no one should get special treatment, or the refusal of the rights they have.
