A late 1970s built Cessna airplane that took off from Boca Raton Airport in Florida shortly after 10am EST today, Friday 4/11, with a reported 3 people on board, crashed not too far off from the departure point, leaving all on board fatalities, and appears indirectly to have caused injuries to a person in a wheeled vehicle on the ground. The area of the incident is about 45 miles north of Miami.
Yesterday afternoon, 4/10 about a quarter after 3pm EST, a Bell helicopter was reported to have split apart while in the air, then dropping into the Hudson River in Manhattan near the border with New Jersey. The helicopter is said to have been conducting a tourist run, carrying a family from Spain. 6 persons, all on the craft, were fatalities.
Earlier ths year late January, a helicopter and airplane collided over the Potomac River in Washington DC; the following day saw a small plane crash in Philadelphia, PA. Aspects of the incidents as a whole and the sequence, if not having similarities, are reminded of.
