After the longest funeral in NYPD history occurred for one of the officers last weekend that was ambushed while in his squad car in New York

It is not clear, what exactly is wrong with some who are amongst us, that reap the amenities and pleasures of living in the United States, food, water, sunshine, clothes, many advantages that are taken for granted in California

It has come to our knowledge that a police car was fired upon in Los Angeles, California, last weekend thereabout, circumstances aside, the bottom line is the heat of the moment that the gunmen were in when they fired on the squad cars, is no excuse.  Yahoo News reports from Reuters, that the gunmen were in a gang related rivalry firefight around the time of the incident. Back to the East Coast, the Los Angeles Times reports that 2 police officers were shot and wounded in West Virginia.  The incident occurred yesterday, on day one of the New Year.

The circumstance in summary was a car was suspected for being stolen, attempted stop, and there were 2 men inside of that vehicle, at least one of who opened fire on the Lewisburg officers.  Surely the officers performed admirably, in that despite the adversity succeeded in suppression of the crime that was in progress.


With the number of incidents where criminality is being facilitated through the use of unlawful vehicle use, the West Virginia confrontation brings to the forefront the heightened concern of the level of danger of what the probabilities are pertinent to the referent vehicles.
