In Kansas: Casino Propositions, and Fires

Debates about a state-owned casino for the southeastern area of Kansas, has emerged into the spotlight.  The referent casino is said to have been authorized for construction for at least 5 years now.  The casino of subject appears to have had plans near the Oklahoma border.  Keywords in news articles this week, are investment requirement lowering from $225 million to $50 million.

There are some ethical concerns with casinos.  The dynamics of ethical concerns regarding casinos respective to the residents nearby, might be somewhat different than areas populated by large cities, like on the east coast.

Maryland recently constructed a large casino in Anne Arundel County.

Las Vegas, Nevada has experienced droughts in businesses related to the gambling industry in the last decade.
