Oregon Reaches State Emergency Level Due to Wildfire

Update September 6, 2022: There are several large wildfires in addition to Rum Creek. The Double Creek wildfire is at least twice as large in acreage.

The situation of rising homelessness is in hindsight, however for right this moment, the situation of a wildfire dubbed Rum Creek Fire has gotten to the point the entire state is affected. State of Emergency declared.
Recent reports say there is a 0% containment of the fire, which translates that the fire is blazing, ripping, and running in whatever way it wants to as though unchecked.
Firefighting efforts are underway, but, if containment still at none, that is a sign the challenge is pretty steep.
Fire roughly 200 to 300 miles south of Portland, subject to slight shifts as time changes.
Up around 11,000 acres; roughly 17 square miles.
