DC Area Sees Snow and Dangerous Road Conditions, Mid-Atlantic Jolted, Many Regions in US Contends with Rough Advents

Snow did fall in the region around Washington DC yesterday, fortunately the intensity of the snow that landed in combination with temperatures that are not so far below freezing that nothing melts for weeks, road conditions in populated areas have the chance to recuperate from snow laden, to slippery as if after a heavy rain.  Hard to see patches of ice on the roads might still exist.

The regions of Philadelphia, and New Jersey, saw heavy snow, and the Mid-Atlantic is reported to have undergone conditions that are in contrast to what was midweek last.

Further south, Texas had a similar change in scene, whereat the climate severe.

This article might be added to upon forecast of more snow compounding the snow over the past couple of days.

Central Connecticut State University has had [update: crucial aspect that gunman being on the loose has been resolved] --[which concerned]-- a report of a suspect gunman on the loose.
The report is one gun cited.  However, clarification about everything involved is still very early on in what could be a developing situation.  Story just released from AP about 5 to 10 minutes ago. Time now 3:15pm EST.  Connecticut is EST.
