Making sure this written, at least begun today, no later, thus late night EST November 13, 2024
The thought was to make mention yesterday, of the first two gentlemen mentioned in this post; time was taken to prepare words.
Ken Oliver, known for his leadership as Councilman in Baltimore County. He was born reportedly in Montgomery, Alabama, in the mid 1940s.
Montgomery, in brief reiteration, was the city in the famous march or marches, Selma to Montgomery, in 1965, reference Civil Rights, [about 20 years after his birth].
He was known for facilitating bringing advantages to the people of his district, that were available in other districts in Maryland, such as a Home Depot.
At the mention of Home Depot--
Bernie Marcus, Co-founder of Home Depot, saw perhaps different layers about a week ago. He was said to have been 95.
One of the above was a Democrat, one was a Republican. Both have their place in history.

Mary Pat Clarke, Former President of the Baltimore City Council, Maryland, in the past several days, sees lights. She was said to have been 83.
A vibrant woman even past 80, one would never suspect anything near decades below, until they learn of her long and influential policy career.
Ken Oliver held renown post in Baltimore County, Mary Pat Clarke in Baltimore City, names of the locations, as well as the locations themselves, are close, yet differentiated. Both Oliver and Mary Pat Clarke had ripple effects that extended well beyond the State of Maryland. All of the abovenamed had ripple effects beyond the State they had their principal office in.
