During an attempted arrest by several officers, a tussle occurred, the suspect ran to a car, police ran after him, the 35 year old suspect turned the vehicle on, hit the accelerator, leaving two officers thrown to the ground, and the 3rd still in car eventually had to shoot the suspect, court appearance en segue.

The City of Baltimore has multiple emerging hotspots of protesting and highly intense fires that have been set to buildings, that are 'hop-skotching' their way down toward the government centers of downtown Baltimore City. Connecticut

Central Connecticut State University has had [update: crucial aspect that gunman being on the loose has been resolved] --[which concerned]-- a report of a suspect gunman on the loose.
The report is one gun cited.  However, clarification about everything involved is still very early on in what could be a developing situation.  Story just released from AP about 5 to 10 minutes ago. Time now 3:15pm EST.  Connecticut is EST.
