During an attempted arrest by several officers, a tussle occurred, the suspect ran to a car, police ran after him, the 35 year old suspect turned the vehicle on, hit the accelerator, leaving two officers thrown to the ground, and the 3rd still in car eventually had to shoot the suspect, court appearance en segue.

Highway fire in California:A brush first got started, then increased in intensity, and started spreading, rapidly, really rapidly; the fire spread so fast that it approached a highway, 'jumped' onto the highway, and set fire to about 20 vehicles, possibly double that amount or more.

There is a report of a U.S. military helicopter having crashed in the United Kingdom, several to 4 persons most likely soldiers dead.
Helicopter USAF, occurrence Tuesday.
Refer Reuters news agency for more information.
Not too much time separated another incident off of the Virginia coast, occurring Wednesday and attendance to the scene as we speak 3pm E.S.T., involving a Navy helicopter, 1 person died, and 1 missing, it seems the rest of the passengers rescued.

The missing 14 year old female teen, Perez, in the area near Atlanta, that was abducted from her house after a break-in by two men about 2:15am yesterday, has been found.
