Coronavirus, or COVID-19 has been a cause for police officers succumbing, still ongoing through the last few weeks. Although it is recognized, it is also clearly ascertained the magnitude of vehicular assault, and plain to see protuberant vehicular recklessness, as well as discharging of firearms, the magnitude is beyond any level of acceptability, whereon affecting officers.
Within the first few seconds of checking news headlines today, from northeast southward, it was noted that 14 year veteran Officer Anastasios Tsakos succumbed to injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
