University Shooting Strikes Again, North Carolina the Last Day of April 2019

At University of North Carolina Charlotte Campus, a shooting took place yesterday, Tuesday April 30th.  The event took the life of two, as reported thus far, and left others injured.

Notes and facts in the loop:
  • The suspect is reported as being aged 22.
  • Relatives of the suspect made statements indicative that they would have never guessed the suspect would d such an activity
  • Victims of UNCC shooting included ages of 21 and 19, the oldest and among those wounded, 23
  • Last week in Baltimore City, a student of Morgan State, was shot, and a fatality at a location that was not on campus.  Victim reported to be age 21.
  • Aftermath in the aspect of students welcomed to be counseled, took place subsequent both the UNCC and Morgan campuses.
  • Last Saturday a 19 year old suspect is blamed on a shooting incident, fatally injuring one, and wounding several others, at a synagogue near San Diego, California
  • Shootings at colleges and universities has decreased in frequency it seems the last year on a national level, however, based on the frequency in the last 10 years, shootings on or near campuses is no stranger
