A Brief Analysis of Crimes that Have Emerged Over this Past Weekend
Let us look for a moment at the types of crimes and what was involved with them, taking place in the three cities and their surrounding areas from last Friday evening on through Sunday, today January 7, 2017. Foremost condolences to victims' families.
Baltimore, 6100 block of Macbeth, sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, a man described as age 22 shot evidently while warming up a car, car stolen and driven off with, car reportedly found by law enforcement. What kind of mental condition would compelled someone to take the life of someone that has barely seen two decades of life?
Before stating a basic principle of psychology, there were a few more shooting related incidents in Baltimore over the weekend, Wilhelm Park area being one of them. The entire park region might not be all that bad, but certain areas are known to be prone to having a social environment develop that could be a hotbed for crime, perhaps similar circumstance to the Macbeth area.
The principle, social and environmental milleu could contribute to the compulsion to engage in crime.
Where does intervention come in? Possibly in changing the milleu.
Annapolis, a man about age 32 breaks into an apartment while two kids were inside. The assailant might have needed help of some kind, could be economically, psychologically, or simply a stronger impression of positive guidance in his upbringing.
