Sudden Resurgence of Passenger Airline Crashes?

July 26, 2014

There have been numerous media analyses of three major crashes involving passenger airplanes in recent weeks.  2014 has seen relatively few passenger airplane crashes, which shows a positive progress in the area of airline safety.  Albeit, a marked upward incline in the number of airplanes carrying many persons that have crashed, namely Flights Malaysian MH17 into the Ukraine region, Air Algerie into Mali, and TransAsia GE222 into Penghu Island, have sparked concern.  There have been a number of smaller airplanes that have also crashed recently.

It may be, that within these answers, includes, that there have been changes to atmospheric conditions, and climates both weather and political, of the earth, some of which might be very subtle, and in terms of progress toward increased safety, are corresponding safety precautions and requirements for safety standards.

Looking at climatic conditions as the blame for crashes, a typhoon has been cited as effecting Flight GE222.

The political climate in Ukraine has been different, after the Cold War, and more recently, developments in Ukraine.  This pertinent Flight MH17.  Had the political climate been cut-and-dried and simplified, that is without the turmoil in Ukraine, the ability to discern exactly what happened to the flight might have been easier.  Makeshift projectiles assembled by outlaws, takes on a whole new dynamic, and this applicable to everywhere, as technology changes.

Other flight incidents, many with comments alluding to conditions which make visibility and control of the aircraft challenging, which have recently occurred, for further reading:
