December Developments in Peru Noted Occurrences

It is not everyday that a President announces a declaration intended to dissolve the very government or major aspects of it, while serving in it. In old days, perhaps hundreds or thousands of years ago, it might have been a strategy that was a more familiar strata of higher wisdom, as a last ditch effort to for instance, save oneself's power base, especially when the government mutinied, and the government was no good, when the king or leader was. Examples of that is when someone that was on the plane of high and mighty, surreal or real life fairytale-like individuals such as messenger resemblant type while king, might do that, when he was the 'holy' messenger, and sole one that fully knows what the higher rule of law was, there was a much larger and longer polarization around that figure, everything for a reason and so on.
Post 1980 in regions of the world where information sharing and civilized society is expected to be, such a move is rare occurrence and may be considered self-aggrandizement, self-entered, haughty, and other descriptions in that vein, essentially looked down upon by others especially in the framework, leading to evaluations that the individual in the leadership seat should be removed for dishonesty, fraud, and abuse of power.
That is exactly what seems to be how what transpired on December 7th, 20222, of this year concerning the President of Peru. Pedro Castillo. Discussion of corruption charges appeared as slated as about to happen; then he took to televised address in reference to the dissolving.
Obviously, the scenario and others like it is not completely strange, as the Peruvians were prepared to swiftly deal with the situation.
In some words, it may have been described as a class of attempted coup or coup d'état, however, we here at HCN will not call it a self-coup/ coup d'état because the only way that could occur in a view literally may be to attempt suicide.
Subsequent the event, the Vice President, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, was transitioned into the seat of President.
En segue, a recent current development n Peru .e. last few days are protests in Peru; and the challenges to bring them under control.

This is a brief outline. Of course there are many dynamics and details into the realities of the moment to moment events which might require much more effort to research.
