Fire Destroys Portions of Balikli Greek Hospital in Turkey

Earlier this week, about mid way, a fire affected the hospital. Seniors had to be evacuated.

In July 2017 Bakari Henderson of Austin, Texas, became a fatality of what might have looked on the prima facie of an unruly bar scuffle amongst the youth.  There may be implications of ethnic influences in motivations that led up to physically altercating.

Kefalonia / Cephalonia Hit By Earthquakes

Between the heel of Italy as seen in the shape of a boot, and Greece to the east of it, below Albania, is an island named Kefalonia in the Ionian Sea.  Almost directly east from Catanzaro, Italy, near the ball of the foot, across the Ionian Sea, just a bit south on arriving Greece, is Kefalonia. 

Properties have been destroyed in manner about half the construction is dysfunctional.
